How TokenTree works

Everything you need to build, verify and protect your page.

Getting started

  1. Go to Create your page, pick a page type (token, protocol, NFT, DAO, creator or personal) and claim a handle.
  2. Pick a template. Every block can be edited, hidden, duplicated, reordered or removed.
  3. Share tokentree.bio/yourhandle everywhere — your X bio, Telegram, Discord, DEX listings.

Blocks

Pages are a stack of blocks. Order is render order. Drag to reorder (mouse or touch), use the keyboard (focus the handle, Space, arrows, Space) or the ↑/↓ buttons on mobile.

Verification

A Verified badge means we confirmed who controls the page and the contract — never that a token is “safe” or “legit”. It takes three checks:

  • Deployer wallet signature. Sign a message with the wallet that deployed the contract. No transaction, no gas.
  • Post from the official X account. Post a one-time code from your project’s X account.
  • DNS TXT record. Add tokentree-verify=<code> to your domain’s DNS.

Auto-generated pages are marked Unclaimed. Teams claim them by signing with the deployer wallet. Try the flow in the dashboard under Verification (demo).

Address timelock

On the Verified plan, editing a verified contract address doesn’t take effect immediately. The change is published to the page’s public changelog with a 24-hour countdown, and holders who subscribed get an alert. If an attacker takes over your X account or email, they can’t silently swap your CA.

Custom domains

From Pro, point your own domain at your page (e.g. links.yourproject.xyz):

CNAME links → cname.tokentree.bio
TXT _tokentree → tokentree-verify=<code>

Certificates are issued automatically. In this demo build the settings screen shows the records but nothing is connected.

Outbound link safety

Every outbound link uses rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc". Links to domains that aren’t on the page’s own domain list go through a “You’re leaving TokenTree” interstitial so visitors can double-check the address. Anyone can report impersonation from any page footer.

Your data (demo)

This build has no accounts and no database. Your pages, edits, collected emails and analytics events live only in this browser’s localStorage (keys starting with tt:v1:). Export/import JSON from Settings; “Reset demo data” restores the seeds. The data layer sits behind repository interfaces so a real API can replace it without UI changes.
